Nunez, 25, moved from Benfica to join Liverpool for a huge fee of 85 million euros, scoring 40 goals in 143 games in all competitions, but his form dropped last season, scoring only 7 goals, in contrast to the 2022-23 season, where he scored 15 goals and the 2023-24 season, where he scored 18 goals.
Previously, there was news that Napoli had a chance to sign Udinese’s Italian national team striker Lorenzo Lucca, while Denmark national team striker Rasmus Hojlund’s chances were less likely because Manchester United had set a high price tag.
